DQ41 titled Sri Sri: Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde to star together in an ‘extra special’ love story
Dulquer Salmaan has announced his next film, titled Sri Sri, with Pooja Hegde as the co-lead.
Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde are set to star together in the upcoming romantic film Sri Sri, previously referred to as DQ41. Directed by Ravi Nelakuditi, the makers have unveiled the film's first-look poster.

Taking to his social media handle, Dulquer Salmaan shared the first-look poster of the film, which also stars Pooja Hegde. In the poster, both actors are seen sporting coordinated outfits. Sharing the poster, the actor wrote, "Love will feel a little extra special with Sri Sri."

Apart from Dulquer and Pooja, the film also stars Dheekshith Shetty in a key role. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of SLV Cinemas, the film features music and background score composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
In addition to its Telugu version, Sri Sri will also be released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde’s work front
Dulquer Salmaan was last seen in Kaantha, directed by Selvamani Selvaraj. The film follows superstar TK Mahadevan, who is caught in a long-standing rivalry with his former mentor, filmmaker Ayya.
When Ayya attempts to revive his shelved project Saantha, Mahadevan takes over and transforms it into Kaantha to match his own creative vision. As their differences deepen, unexpected developments on the film's set add intrigue to the story, making the relationship between Mahadevan and Ayya increasingly complex.
Up next, Dulquer will be seen in the lead role in I'm Game. The film follows a fearless gambler who trusts luck more than life and finds himself caught in a series of wild and unexpected events that turn his world upside down. What follows is a thrilling ride filled with action, fun, surprises, and unforgettable moments.
Alongside Dulquer, the film also stars Antony Varghese Pepe, Sandy Master, Kathir, Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, and several others in prominent roles. It is slated for a theatrical release on August 20, 2026, coinciding with the Onam festival.
The actor is also working on Aakasam Lo Oka Tara, an upcoming adventure drama co-starring Shruti Haasan and debutant Satvika Veeravalli.
Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde will next be seen in Jana Nayagan, starring Thalapathy Vijay. The film is expected to release in theaters soon.
