Dridam is slated to begin streaming on the OTT platform JioHotstar from June 12, 2026. The official update was shared by the platform's social media handle, which wrote, “A hunt for justice. A fight for the truth.”

Dridam follows Vijay Radhakrishnan, a rookie officer who receives his first posting in what he believes to be a peaceful village in Idukki, Kerala. However, his expectations of a quiet assignment are quickly shattered when a victim is found within the station limits.
Things soon escalate as Vijay faces mounting pressure from both his superiors and the public after two more victims are discovered and a major robbery takes place at a local firm. With little evidence to work with, he must navigate a web of mysteries that leads to a dramatic conclusion.

Dridam stars Shane Nigam, Shobi Thilakan, Krishna Prabha, Nandan Unni, Kottayam Ramesh, Dinesh Prabhakar, Mathew Varghese, Sreedhanya Thekkedath, Bitto Davis, Prasant Murali, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and many others in key roles.
The film is directed by Martin Joseph Tharakunnel and written by Jomon John and Linto Devasia. PM Unnikrishnan handled the cinematography, while Sreerag Saji composed the music. VS Vinayak served as the editor.
Shane Nigam’s work front
Shane Nigam was last seen in Haal. Directed by Veeraa, the film stars Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead and follows a rapper and a nurse who fall in love and overcome several obstacles to sustain their relationship.
Apart from the lead pair, the film also features Johny Antony, Abin Bino, Madhupal, Sangita Madhavan Nair, and others in key roles.
Looking ahead, the actor is set to make his Telugu debut with the action thriller tentatively titled Shane Nigam 27, directed by Sagar Udagandla.
