Drishyam 2: Makers of the Mohanlal and Meena starrer release new promo; Watch
Mohanlal took to his Twitter space and shared a new promo of his upcoming film Drishyam 2, directed by Jeethu Joseph.
The makers of Mohanlal’s upcoming film Drishyam 2 have released a new promo, where the locals of George Kutti’s village are seen discussing if the cops will nab him as it has been six years since the murder. It also shows glimpse of his family, as they panic seeing cops approaching their home. Sharing the promo, Mohanlal wrote, “Lucky or smart? #Drishyam2OnPrime premieres on Feb 19”. The makers released the teaser a couple of days back and it received a massive attention.
With the released teaser, it is anticipated that the film will revolve around the same crime which happened in the film’s original version. It is anticipated that the cops will dig up the old case as it was not closed in the first instalment. Drishyam 2 stars all the lead cast members from the original version including Meena as the leading lady. The film will be directly released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime on February 19.

Drishyam 2: The resumption is written and directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. The director initially stated that the second part will deal with how the family responds to life after the crisis. The sequel will take off from where Drishyam ended. He had earlier revealed, “The police hadn’t closed the murder investigation. So the film will examine how the family deals with their trauma and reactions from the society”.
