Georgekutty is back to leave us all scratching our heads once again. Jeethu Joseph’s highly anticipated film, Drishyam 3, has finally made its grand theatrical debut. Making the release even more monumental, the film dropped exactly on superstar Mohanlal’s 66th birthday. After the film’s debut, fans took to social media to share first-day-first-show reactions.

The third installment of the ambitious Drishyam franchise picks up nearly five years after the previous events. This time, the stakes are impossibly higher. The story revolves around the deep psychological and legal consequences of Georgekutty's past decisions, as the authorities refuse to give up on solving the case after being humiliated for over a decade.
Director Jeethu Joseph’s film is met with mixed reviews, with some heaping praise on the banger first half and others being a little disappointed with the second half.
Sharing his review, a user penned, “Same template as Drishyam 2. The tension building starts in the second half. Don’t expect twists and turns like the first and second parts. Go to the theatre, keeping in mind that you’re watching a family drama. There are some surprising elements too.”
Another one expressed, “Film will get below average - Negative reviews from outside Kerala, whereas in Kerala everyone will give excellent reviews! If this movie was not in Drishyam Franchise - This was going to be an another disaster for Jeethu.”
In their review, a third noted, “This film is more of epilogue feel than sequel, the drama with little suspense keeps you engaged, interval block was total surprise, everyone performance was good. This is totally different film while comparing to the first two parts, Final act felt bit forced with some clap worthy twists. Neatly written screenplay everyone did their part well.. could have avoided next part lead !! Overall a Satisfying conclusion!”
For another movie buff, Drishyam 3 is a “Must watch from theatres. Avoid social media spoilers as much as possible. Loved the fact that there is no reason for anyone to ask why a thrid part was made or sayin it is 4 money. The story is there. The character arcs is there. Family Drama shown perfectly!!”
