EXCLUSIVE: Mommy to be Radhika Pandit OPENS up on Yash, Ayra, motherhood and second baby
Radhika Pandit in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla spoke about how she doesn’t let social media trolls affect her in any way. Mother to a daughter named Ayra, Radhika Pandit also shared how life as a wife and mother changed.
Kannada actress Radhika Pandit, who was last seen on the big screen in the film, Aadi Lakhsmi Purana, is expecting her second baby with Rocking Star husband Yash. The actress, wife and now second-time mother-to-be Radhika Pandit is currently in the best phase of her life. The gorgeous actress recently in an interview with Pinkvilla spoke about how she doesn’t let social media trolls affect her in any way. Mother to a daughter named Ayra, Radhika Pandit also shared how life as a wife and mother changed. Talking about her second baby, Radhika revealed that she will continue with the same trend as Ayra of sharing the first glimpse of the newborn after 5 months. The actress opened up about motherhood, husband Yash, daughter Ayra and more.

Excerpts from the interview:
You shared how Yash broke down into tears watching Ayra getting her ears pierced. Are there any such moments of him and Ayra that left you surprised?
One of the toughest things to witness as parents to see is their baby’s ears getting pierced because it is very painful and that’s what Ayra did. She cried and cried...I was taken aback when I saw Yash had tears in his eyes. He is a very strong person, so seeing him getting emotional was something that I had not witnessed ever. Now I see him a completely a changed man after being a father. The way he is with Ayra, dedicates his time, he is a hands-on father, he changes her diaper whenever I’m busy. It is the new side I’m seeing and to watch them together, is the cutest thing.
You recently uploaded a video of Ayra and soon you were targeted for conversing in Konkani. How do you stay away from such social Media trolls and negativity? Does this bother you anyway?
As someone rightly said, social media is a boon and curse, so we need to be prepared for both. It’s like how happy we feel when we read positive comments and I think negative comments are also something that we should accept but not take it to heart. That’s how I deal with negative comments...I don’t give a lot of attention because the positive comments and love we receive is much more than negative. Whenever I share Ayra’s pictures and videos, we always get an overwhelming response that makes us happy.
Like Taimur in Bollywood, Ayra's popularity down South is immense. What do you have to comment on it?
We are aware that Ayra is really popular down South...The amount of love she receives is like overwhelming and as parents we are happy, we are proud of her and we consider ourselves lucky, blessed to have a daughter like her.
How life as a wife and then as a mom changed?
Life as someone’s wife is different....responsibility is more, their treasure is there, especially when you have married an actor or co-actor but I’m enjoying it. It has taught me a lot. It has taught me to prioritize how to babysit. Yes, Yash has taught me patience as well and that has helped me as a mom. I’m enjoying the two roles of wife and mother thoroughly. I think this is the best phase of my life.
