Fans go berserk on social media as Dhanush changes his bio in Twitter to Asuran

The fans of Kollywood star Dhanush went crazy after he changed his bio on Twitter to ASURAN/Actor. Sharing screenshots of the bio and cheering for him, the actor’s fans have been taking to social media to express their admiration for the actor. While it is known that Dhanush enjoys a huge fandom, this change in his bio has made his fans further excited. 

Asuran, directed by Vetrimaaran, is one of the highly critically acclaimed films of Kollywood. While Dhanush played the lead actor, Manju Warrier was seen as the leading lady. Pasupathy, Prakash Raj and Teejay were the other actors who played some crucial roles in the rural drama. The film spoke about a number of issues including casteism in the society and it was well received by the fans and critics.

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of his film titled Jagame Thandhiram. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the gangster flick has Lekshmi Menon as the leading lady. His film Karnan, directed by Mari Selvaraj, is also expected to be released soon. Other than these, he has an interesting line up of films in his pipeline including a Bollywood film and Hollywood film, The Gray Man. In Tamil, Dhanush is expected to join the sets of Selvaraghavan’s upcoming directorial Naane Varuven. Recently, photos of Dhanush from the Pooja ceremony of his another yet to be titled film with Karthick Naren were also shared.
