Fauzi is one of the most anticipated films in Prabhas' lineup. Directed by Sita Ramam filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi, the period action drama is now reportedly eyeing a theatrical release on December 3, 2026.
Is Prabhas’ Fauzi eyeing a release for December 3, 2026?
According to reports, including one by Indiaglitz Telugu, Prabhas starrer Fauzi is likely to release in theatres on December 3, 2026. However, this remains a report for now, and the makers have not made any official announcement.
Fauzi is an upcoming period epic featuring Prabhas in the lead role. The film reportedly stars the actor as a soldier and presents a fictional story set against a historical backdrop.
The film also features internet personality Imanvi as the female lead, while veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Prada play key roles.
Earlier reports suggested that the period action drama was being considered for a Dussehra or November 2026 release. The makers had initially planned to bring the film to theatres on Independence Day this year, but the final release schedule is expected to depend on the completion of filming.
Prabhas’ work front
Prabhas was last seen in the lead role in The Raja Saab. Directed by Maruthi, the horror comedy follows Raja and his rivalry with the spirit of his late grandfather, who continues to haunt a mansion.
Apart from the Saaho actor, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and others in key roles. The film received a mixed response from critics and audiences upon its release and is currently available for streaming on JioHotstar.
Interestingly, Prabhas also appeared in the docu-series Baahubali: The Torchbearer, which explores the making of the iconic franchise while also hinting at a potential third installment.
Looking ahead, the Rebel Star will headline Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Co-starring Triptii Dimri, with Vivek Oberoi in a prominent role, the film is scheduled to release on March 5, 2027.
