The first look of the Rajinikanth starrer Darbar is finally out and it has literally created a frenzy amongst the fans. The film's first look will remind you of the first look of the Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba.

   The first look of Darbar starring Rajinikanth is finally out today and it has literally broken the internet. The film is helmed by AR Murugadoss. Rajinikanth will be playing a tough cop in the film. The poster of the film has Rajinikanth flashing an excited smile along with donning a cop uniform as he is surrounded by the police badge, belts and handcuffs. The guns, police dog and the Gateway of India displayed in the poster further intrigued his fans. The film was earlier titled as Thalaivar 167. 
 
   But what increased our excitement is that the film reminded us of Ranveer Singh's first look from the film Simmba. It is not a hidden fact that Ranveer Singh won our hearts as he essayed a rowdy cop, Sangram Bhalerao in the film. The first look of Ranveer from the film had also sent his fans into complete frenzy. We could not help but notice the uncanny resemblance between the first looks of both Rajinikanth and Ranveer Singh from their respective films. 
 
 

 
   Talking about Darbar, the makers are yet to divulge many details about the film. Nayanthara has been roped in to essay the main female lead opposite Rajinikanth in the film. This will be the fourth collaboration of the duo on-screen. Rajinikanth's publicist Riaz Ahmed also rubbished the speculations surrounding the cast of the film. He took to his Twitter to write, 'The rumours being speculated about the cast of Thalaivar 167 is not authentic. As of now, only Nayanthara has been roped in the film. Kindly do not spread the news until you get an official press release about the entire confirmed cast.'
