Swati, popularly known as Colours Swathi, is an actress who predominantly worked in Telugu films, along with work in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. Her nickname Colours Swathi comes from her stint in the Telugu television show Colours, which was telecast on Maa TV.

After playing supporting roles, she made her debut as a lead actress in the Tamil film Subramaniapuram. Later, she appeared alongside Nani in the highly acclaimed Ashta Chamma, an adaptation of Oscar Wilde's play The Importance of Being Earnest.

Later, in 2013, Swati made her acting debut in the Fahadh Faasil starrer Amen, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. The musical romantic comedy had received positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success in theaters.

Over the years, she went on to feature in films such as Swamy Ra Ra, North 24 Kaatham, Double Barrel, and London Babulu. Apart from acting, Swati has also worked as a dubbing artist and playback singer. She notably dubbed for Ileana D'Cruz in the Telugu version of Jalsa. Moreover, she has also been part of films as a playback singer.

The actress had last appeared in a lead role in the romantic drama Month of Madhu, co-starring Naveen Chandra. Directed by her now-husband Srikanth Nagothi, the film received positive reviews upon release.

Swati was previously married to a Malayali pilot, Vikas Vasu. The duo had married each other on August 30, 2018. However, the couple ended their marriage, finalizing their divorce in 2022.
