Yogi Babu, one of the most sought after the comedian, is set for his film, Gurkha. The film, which has been directed by Sam Anton has hit the screens today. The film has Anandraj, Livingston, Raj Bharath and others in the supporting roles. Reportedly, the film is inspired by Paul Blart: Mall Cop and the Die Hard series, and the story revolves around a Gurkha. The trailer and promos of the film grabbed a lot of attention of the moviegoers and this had set high expectations. Well, the first reviews of the film are out and the audience has been sharing their experience after watching this Yogi Babu starrer. 

Gurkha movie has released on more than 300 screens and going by the twitter reactions, the film has opened to a positive response. The film is exciting and hilarious and the audience can't stop praising Yogi Babu's performance in the film. During an interview with The Indian Express, director Sam Anton revealed that Yogi Babu didn’t want to play the lead in Gurkha. He also added, "We share a great bond and that’s why I approached him immediately after getting the idea for Gurkha."
