In the glimpse titled The Heart of Irumudi, Ravi Teja is portrayed as a loving father who shares a close bond with his daughter. In the 1-minute-and-24-second video, the actor is presented as a flawed yet lovable man who is determined to fulfill his daughter’s wishes.
Moreover, a brief moment in the glimpse reveals that the character is not only flawed but also possesses a strong action-oriented side.

Reportedly, Irumudi is slated for a theatrical release in August 2026. The action drama is expected to be a significant cinematic venture, especially when compared to the actor’s recent films, which underperformed at the box office.
For those unaware, Irumudi is an upcoming film starring Ravi Teja in the lead role. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the movie is rooted in themes of faith, belief, and transformation. Staying true to its core themes, the first-look poster featured Ravi Teja in traditional Ayyappa Swami attire, set against the backdrop of a vibrant procession filled with devotees.
After a long string of commercial entertainers, the film appears to be a departure from the actor’s usual projects.
Featuring Priya Bhavani Shankar and Baby Nakshathra as the female leads, the film also stars Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira, Swasika, Meesala Lakshman, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Ramana Bhargav, Kishore Kancherapalem, and Karthik Adusumalli in pivotal roles.
Earlier, reports suggested that Tamannaah Bhatia would play a key role in the film. However, no official confirmation has been made so far.

Ravi Teja was last seen in the romantic comedy Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, alongside Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi. The film follows Ram Satyanarayana, a vineyard owner from India, who struggles to balance his marriage and his relationship with his girlfriend. As both relationships begin to unravel, the story explores how long he can sustain the deception before facing the consequences.
