Nearly a decade after S.S. Rajamouli’s 2015 movie rewrote the history of Indian cinema, the world of Mahishmati has taken over the internet once again. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and Anushka Shetty hint at Baahubali 3
Back in 2015, Baahubali: The Beginning, the two-part epic saga, stirred a storm at the box office, which gave birth to its second part, Baahubali: The Epic. Now, everyone’s talking about Baahubali 3.
The spark that ignited this fire comes straight from the newly released docuseries, Baahubali: The Torchbearer. The 4-episode documentary gives a peek into the unseen behind-the-scenes chaos of the original two films. However, it’s a moment near the end of the docuseries that has fans losing their minds.
Sitting together on a couch, the core stars, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and Anushka Shetty address the franchise's ultimate question. Hinting at the film’s third part, Rana Daggubati said, “The world may not be ready yet, but there will be Baahubali...”
Before Rana can even finish his sentence, Prabhas holds up three fingers to the camera. The gesture immediately sends Anushka and Rana into laughter, and the scene fades out to the text “And the legacy continues!”
Though the documentary mentions Part 3, there is no official timeline, confirmed script, or fixed dates about it.While director S.S. Rajamouli hasn't officially given the green light to a third cinematic chapter, the fans have never stopped manifesting the expansion of the universe.
Till now, the Baahubali franchise also boasts of actors like Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Nassar, Sathyaraj, Subbaraju and Adivi Sesh, to name a few.
For now, Baahubali 3 remains unannounced on paper. Until an official poster drops, fans can relive the epic journey on Baahubali: The Torchbearer.
