Is Kaithi actor Arjun Das set to get engaged soon? Here’s the truth behind his engagement rumors
Arjun Das is next set to star in a lead role with the movie Con City, co-starring with Anna Ben.
Arjun Das is creating a buzz online, and this time, it isn’t for any of his upcoming releases. According to recent speculation, the Kaithi actor was rumored to be preparing for his wedding, with reports about his engagement grabbing attention. But what is the truth behind it?
Is Arjun Das getting engaged soon?
In an earlier post by entertainment industry tracker Ramesh Bala, it was claimed that Arjun Das might be planning to settle down soon, with an engagement reportedly on the cards. The report suggested that the actor could exchange rings in a private ceremony this week in the presence of close family and friends.
However, the tracker later clarified that the news was merely a rumor after apparently speaking with one of Arjun’s close friends and associates. Based on this, it appears safe to assume that the Master actor is not getting engaged or married anytime soon.
As the rumors continue to make the rounds on social media, the actor's team has urged everyone to verify such claims with the actor’s team before engaging with them.
Arjun Das’ work front
Arjun Das was last seen in a lead role in Kumki 2. Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the story follows the unbreakable bond between a young man named Bhoomi and a rescued baby elephant named Nila. Apart from Arjun, the film also features Mathi, Shrita Rao, Hareesh Peradi, Suzane George, and Srinath, among others, in key roles. The film serves as a spiritual successor to the director’s 2012 film Kumki.
Looking ahead, the actor will next star in the comedy-drama Con City. Co-starring Anna Ben, the film is directed by Harish Durairaj and follows a struggling family whose ordinary receipt printer mysteriously turns into a money-printing machine after a lightning strike, sending their lives in an unexpected direction.
Apart from the lead duo, the movie also stars Yogi Babu, Vadivukkarasi, Imman Annachi, Radha Ravi, Thambi Ramaiah, and more in key roles. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on June 26, 2026.
Additionally, the actor also has the romantic drama Once More in his lineup, co-starring Aditi Shankar. However, despite the film being wrapped, its release date has not been announced yet.
