Naslen and Kumbalangi Nights director Madhu C. Narayanan are all set to collaborate for the first time. According to recent reports, the project is expected to go on floors in July this year.

According to a report shared by tracker AB George, Naslen is expected to begin filming his next project with Kumbalangi Nights director Madhu C. Narayanan in July 2026.
The film marks the acclaimed filmmaker's return to direction after several years, with pre-production currently underway. Reports also suggest that it will be a musical, with Rex Vijayan likely to compose both the songs and the background score.
Naslen’s work front
Naslen was last seen in the lead role in Mollywood Times. The film follows Vineeth Madhavan, an aspiring filmmaker from Kuttikkanam who dreams of reviving Malayalam horror cinema. As he works his way from making short films to directing a feature, he faces creative differences, industry challenges, and personal setbacks.
His relentless pursuit of artistic success eventually forces him to balance his ideals with the realities of the filmmaking world. The film is said to draw inspiration from The Fountainhead and the director's own experiences.
Apart from the Premalu actor, the film also stars Sharaf U Dheen, Sreejith Shine, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sangeeth Prathap, Roshan Shanavas, Gopika Ramesh, and several others in key roles. Directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak, the film will be available for streaming on JioHotstar from July 3, 2026.
Naslen is currently working on Suriya's next film, tentatively titled Suriya47. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the action comedy reportedly features Suriya as a quirky police officer, with Nazriya Nazim Fahadh playing the female lead. With Sushin Shyam composing the music, the film is expected to wrap up production by the end of June 2026.
Looking ahead, Naslen has completed filming for Bachelor Party D'eux. He is also part of Asif Ali's Tiki Taka and has been confirmed as a cast member in Mammootty's Mattancherry Mafia, directed by Khalidh Rahman.
