Jr NTR starrer Dragon is slated to release in theaters on June 11, 2027. Following the unveiling of the glimpse on Tarak’s birthday, director Prashanth Neel appeared in an interview and addressed whether the movie would feature a crossover between the worlds of KGF and Salaar.

Is Jr NTR’s Dragon set to have a crossover between KGF and Salaar?

In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, Prashanth Neel confirmed that Dragon has no connection to his previous blockbusters KGF and Salaar. The upcoming action entertainer starring Jr NTR will be a standalone film, as the filmmaker admitted that he is not particularly fond of crossover movies.

The director said, “I’m not very fond of crossovers. I’m not against them. But if I do one just for money, the drama and emotions might go wrong.”

Moreover, the filmmaker also confirmed that the movie would serve as the final installment in his hyper-stylized noir mass-action trilogy following KGF and Salaar.

Continuing further, Prashanth Neel also reflected on collaborating with Jr NTR for the project. The filmmaker stated, “We have casted the most expensive villain in the history of Indian cinema. I met NTR five years ago, and when I narrated the script to him, it was the most difficult decision he had to make. This character is a pure villain. It’s the darkest character I have written, and you’ll understand that once you watch the film.”
