The much awaited trailer of Comali, starring Jayam Ravi, Kajal Aggarwal and Samyuktha Hegde is finally out. Produced by Vels Film International and written and directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, the comedy drama marks the first collaboration between Jayam Ravi and Kajal Aggarwal. It follows the life of Ravi who has been in coma since the past 16 years and is recovering. According to reports, the film also focuses on the importance of human relationships in the generation ruled majorly by technology.

However, there is one scene in the film which has created quite a big controversy. At the end of the trailer, there is a scene when Ravi wakes up from the coma and Yogi Babu is trying to convince him that it is 2019. He turns on the TV for help and on it we can see Rajinikanth announcing that he will be joining politics. To this, the actor replies that it is still 1996. According to the buzz, he is indicating that the superstar has been talking about entering politics since very long.

Kamal Haasan is apparently unhappy with this scene and according to his Makkal Neethi Maiam representative Murali Appas's tweet, had given a call to the producer regarding the same. According to reports, the scene may be deleted as fans of superstar Rajinikanth did not find it funny at all.
