Kannada actor Raghavendra Rajkumar hospitalised following palpitations

The hospital authorities have issued a statement saying that the actor is currently stable and is under observation.

Kannada actor and producer Raghavendra Rajkumar has reportedly been hospitalized in a private medical facility on Tuesday evening after he had mild palpitations. When the actor was shooting for the upcoming film Belaku, he complained of restlessness and was immediately rushed to the hospital from the shooting location. Columbia Asia Referral Hospital, where the actor is undergoing treatment mentioned that the actor is stable.

The statement read, “Film star Raghavendra Rajkumar has been admitted in Columbia Asia Referral Hospital Yeshwantpur with mild palpitations on the evening of February 16. He is admitted for observation and is currently stable.” His brothers Puneeth Rajkumar and Shivarajkumar visited him at the hospital. Raghavendra’s son Vinay said during a press meet that his father’s condition is stable and that there is no need to panic. It is expected that he will be discharged today.

Raghavendra Rajkumar, who has been having health issues for more than five years, got admitted to a hospital in Singapore in 2013 after he suffered a stroke. The actor was staying away from the media for more than six years owing to his ill health. However, he made a comeback with the movie Ammane Mane which was released in the year 2019 and was critically acclaimed. In the movie, he played the role of Rajeeva. He will be seen in the action-packed film Pogaru which is set to release on Friday.
