More about Karuppu

Karuppu revolves around underprivileged people fighting for their rights while placing their faith in the legal system. However, when the very system meant to protect them becomes the source of their suffering, the deity Karuppu Swamy takes human form to help them and put an end to injustice in society. The film explores how he carries out his mission and protects those in need.

Apart from Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, the movie also stars RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maaya Ravi, and Supreeth Reddy in key roles.

Suriya’s work front

Following Karuppu, Suriya is set to appear in Vishwanath And Sons, directed by Venky Atluri. The film stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, with Raveena Tandon and Radikaa Sarathkumar playing pivotal roles. Reports suggest that the movie is expected to hit theatres in August 2026.

Looking ahead, the actor also has another project in the pipeline, tentatively titled Suriya47.
