Kattalan: Antony Varghese Pepe’s actioner with Marco makers to have 3 post-credit scenes; Team confirms

Kattalan, starring Antony Varghese, is slated to release in theatres on May 28, 2026. Directed by debutant Paul George, the action thriller is said to feature three different post-credit scenes.

Marco makers announce 3 post-credit scenes for Kattalan

Taking to social media, the makers of Kattalan shared an update about the film’s three post-credit scenes. The team wrote, “Important note to the audience. Please do not leave the theatre when the movie ends. Kattalan features 3 post-credit scenes,  two during the title cards, and the final post-credit scene appears only after the rolling credits are completely over. Stay till the very end. The hunt is not over yet.”

With the latest post, the makers appear to hint that the film’s story and characters will continue in their upcoming ventures. Kattalan revolves around a brutal ivory cartel war, following a man who finds himself caught between relentless greed and the untamed wilderness. The film is co-written and directed by Paul George, with music and background score composed by Ravi Basrur and Kantara fame B. Ajaneesh Loknath.

Apart from Antony Varghese, the film also stars Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Kill fame Parth Tiwari, Jagadish, Dushara Vijayan, Siddique, Raj Tirandasu, Shon Joy, Anson Paul, and several others in key roles.

While more details about the film are yet to be revealed, Kattalan is touted to be a high-octane action thriller centered on ivory smuggling and vengeance. The makers have also confirmed that the film is set in the same cinematic universe as Marco.

Antony Varghese Pepe’s work front

Antony Varghese Pepe was last seen in the boxing action film Daveed. The movie revolves around Ashiq Abu, a middle-aged bouncer whose life takes a dramatic turn when he is forced to face Turkish boxer Sainul Akhmedov in a boxing match, sparking an intense rivalry.

Looking ahead, the actor will next be seen in I'm Game, starring Dulquer Salmaan and directed by Nahas Hidayath. The upcoming film also stars Kathir, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, and others in key roles. It is touted to be a high-stakes action entertainer featuring DQ as a fearless gambler. The movie is set to release on August 20, 2026, coinciding with Onam this year.

Additionally, the actor also has Thottam - The Demesne in his lineup, in which he co-stars with Keerthy Suresh.
