Maa Inti Bangaaram is the upcoming action drama movie starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, directed by BV Nandini Reddy.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to return to the big screen after a hiatus with the action drama thriller Maa Inti Bangaaram. In a recent Q&A session on Instagram, the actress revealed that she and the team had initially wanted to cast Sai Pallavi in the lead role.

During the Instagram Q&A session, Samantha Ruth Prabhu said, “I didn’t choose this movie, but this movie chose me. The idea behind Tralala is to focus on female-led content, so the initial idea for this film was to pitch it to Sai Pallavi garu. I knew she was very busy and didn’t have the time. Then the makers tweaked the film for me, and hopefully Maa Inti Bangaaram works.”
Sharing the same, the actress tagged Sai Pallavi and added that she hopes to cast her in a project under her production banner in the future.
Moreover, there were speculations that Maa Inti Bangaaram might be postponed from its June 19, 2026, release date. When a follower asked about the same, Samantha clarified that the team is definitely aiming to release the film on June 19 without any delays.
Maa Inti Bangaaram stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role. The actress has also co-produced the film alongside Raj Nidimoru and Himank Reddy Duvvuru under the banner of Tralala Moving Pictures.
With Gulshan Devaiah and Diganth Manchale playing co-leads, the film also features Gautami Tadimalla, Sreemukhi, Manjusha, Srinivas Gavireddy, and others in key roles. The music and background score are composed by Santhosh Narayanan, while Om Prakash ISC serves as the cinematographer.
The film is co-written and created by Raj Nidimoru alongside Vasanth Maringanti, with additional screenplay by Prahas Boppudi. Dharmendra Kakarala serves as the editor.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s work front
Samantha Ruth Prabhu will next be seen in a lead role in the web series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur. With Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi also part of the cast, the series is created by Raj and DK and directed by Rahi Anil Barve.
