Every year, Maha Shivratri is celebrated as the junction of Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, people observe fast and also chant mantras of the deity on the auspicious day. Special poojas are offered at the temples. This year, Maha Shivratri is being celebrated on March 11. On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, South celebrities shared their wishes to their fans and followers. Sharing photos of Lord Shiva and extending their wishes, South celebrities have flooded social media with their wishes.

Kajal Aggarwal shared a photo of Shiva’s trishul on her Instagram story and extended her wishes. Samantha Akkineni shared a photo of the famous statue of Lord Shiva from the Isha Yoga Centre and shared with her followers on the auspicious occasion. Mahesh Babu wished his followers and wrote, “Wishing you all a blessed Maha Shivratri. Hope, peace, happiness and strength always”. Lakshmi Manchu wrote on her Twitter space, “Rise above the dualities of life and taste the oneness of creation. #HappyMahashivratri”.
