Here’s some good news to the fans of Mammootty. The makers of his upcoming film The Priest have now revealed that the film will hit the big screens on March 11. After a long wait and a number of postponements, the film is finally all set to hit the big screens. This has come as an amazing news to those who have been waiting to catch a glimpse of the Megastar in the highly anticipated film.

Directed by debutant Jofin T Chacko, The Priest is bankrolled by Anto Joseph, Unnikrishnan B, and V N Babu, under the banner Anto Joseph Film Company and RD Illuminations. Touted to be a mystery thriller, the film also marks the first collaboration of Manju Warrier and Mohanlal. Other than the lead actors, Nikhila Vimal, Saniya Iyappan, and Baby Monica will be seen playing some important roles. The film’s teaser was released on January 14 and it opened to a huge positive reaction from the fans.

Meanwhile, Mammootty took to his Twitter space and shared the title poster of his next film. Titled Puzhu, he revealed that the film has Parvathy Thiruvothu as the leading lady. The upcoming Mollywood flick will mark the directorial debut of Ratheena and jointly produced by Wayfarer Films and CYN-CYL Celluloid. Excited and elated fans took to the comments section and congratulated the team for the collaboration. It is expected that more updates about this exciting project will be made by the makers soon.
