Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi starrer action thriller, Master released in theatres on January 13 as a Pongal special. Master took the box office by storm and has been declared as the first blockbuster film that released post lockdown. The film has almost witnessed the end of it’s run at the box-office and now, the makers have released Master on Amazon Prime India. The film has released today on OTT platform and reviews have started pouring in on Twitter. 

Movie buffs are clearly enjoying the movie at home with their families. One of the Twitter users wrote, "What a delight it is to watch #MasterOnPrime. Definitely a movie dat wld ve been evn better to watch on screens. #ThalapathyVijay was so good to watch on screen and #VijaySethupathi was perfect as Bavani. The movie is thoroughly entertaining #FirstDayFirstStream." Master is trending on social media as fans have geared up to watch the much-awaited film at the comfort of their home. 

The story of the film revolves around Thalapathy Vijay, who is essaying the character of an alcoholic college professor named John Durairaj. He gets transferred to a juvenile school, that’s where he meets his archnemesis – Bhavani, played by Vijay Sethupathi.

Meanwhile, writer and director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently said, “MASTER film has brought two very strong actors face to face in the film, that serves as great entertainment hook for people to come and watch the film in theatres. However, with the film's global digital release on Amazon Prime Video, we are hoping to reach a wider audience that’s been at home.
