Mega158: Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan to grace Chiranjeevi’s action entertainer pooja ceremony on May 21?
Mega158 is the upcoming gangster actioner starring Chiranjeevi in the lead role, directed by Bobby Kolli.
Mega158, also referred to as ChiruBobby2, is all set to reunite Chiranjeevi and director Bobby Kolli once again, with a pooja ceremony scheduled to take place on May 21, 2026. The ceremony is now confirmed to be attended by actors Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan.

In official updates shared on social media, the makers of Mega158 confirmed that Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan would attend the pooja ceremony as chief guests. The event is scheduled to take place on May 21, 2026, and will commence at 8 AM.

Earlier, the team had also confirmed that the film’s music would be composed by Thaman S, with Ruben serving as the editor.
In a previous post featuring Chiranjeevi, the actor was seen preparing for the action entertainer by working out intensely in the gym. Reportedly, the team had initially planned to begin shooting earlier, but postponed it due to the actor’s knee surgery.
Earlier, there was also speculation that Mohanlal would be part of the upcoming action entertainer, playing a pivotal role alongside Chiranjeevi. While no official confirmation has been made, reports suggest that Mohanlal may have opted out of the project due to remuneration-related issues.
The tentatively titled Mega158 marks Bobby Kolli’s second collaboration with Chiranjeevi after the 2023 film Waltair Veerayya. The movie is said to be an action drama with an intense emotional backdrop.
Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s work front
Chiranjeevi has wrapped up work on his fantasy action entertainer Viswambhara, which is expected to hit the big screens in 2026, although the official release date is yet to be announced.
Looking ahead, Chiranjeevi also has a project lined up with The Paradise director Srikanth Odela.
On the other hand, Ram Charan will headline the film Peddi, which is slated to release on June 4, 2026. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports action drama follows the story of a man widely known for his talent in cricket, marathon running, and wrestling.
The rest of the story revolves around his journey of self-discovery and identity. The movie stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu, Boman Irani, Jagapathi Babu, and several others in key roles.
