Indian cricket team's all-rounder Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement from international cricket yesterday at a press con in Mumbai. Yuvraj Singh in his emotional retirement speech said, "After 25 years, I have decided to move on. Cricket has given me everything and is the reason why I stand here today." One of the best players in the history of Cricket has bid goodbye to the game and fans are quite emotional. Fans and even celebrities have been thanking Yuvi for all the wonderful memories. Yuvraj Singh continues to trend on Twitter as fans express how Yuvi will remain one of the favourite Indian cricketers. 

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal also took to Twitter and thanked Yuvraj for the magical performances. He wrote, "Thanks for the magical performances, @YUVSTRONG12! Wishing you the best for future. #YuvrajSingh." Well, the feat of smashing six sixes in a single over against Stuart Broad in the 2007 World T20 is something that will stay forever in the memories of Indians. In fact, the retirement event was set up with 6 sixes in the backdrop and his trophies.

Lucifer director and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran also tweeted, "In terms of sheer utility for a one day side, @YUVSTRONG12 is on my list of contenders for India’s greatest ODI player. Thank you Champ. Can’t tell you how much the memories you created mean to us!"

Yuvraj's wife Hazel Keech shared a photo from Yuvraj's press conference with a motivational message that read, "And, with that, its the end of an era. Be proud of yourself husband, now onto the next chapter.... love you."
