Nagarjuna Akkineni was in tears after watching Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy reveals Chiranjeevi

The makers of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy recently hosted a grand success meet. During the event, Chiranjeevi revealed that Nagarjuna Akkineni was in tears towards the end of Sye Raa.

After taking a break from his political career (2007-2017), Megastar Chiranjeevi made a comeback with Khaidi No 150. Chiranjeevi has always left his fans amazed with strong roles and his recently released film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a proof. Sye Raa, period drama opened to a thunderous response by the audience and critics alike. In fact, his close friends from the film fraternity made sure to watch the film on the day of its release. Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna Akkineni among others took to Twitter and praised the magnum opus. 

The makers of the film recently hosted a grand success meet. During the event, Chiranjeevi revealed that Nagarjuna Akkineni was in tears towards the end of Sye Raa. He said, "Nag and his son Akhil watched Sye Raa along with me in AMB. Towards the end, Nag’s eyes turned red and he was literally in tears. Post the film, he showered praises on the film and my performance."  Revealing about how Venkatesh Daggubati reacted after watching his recently released magnum opus, Chiru said, "Out of blue, Venkatesh texted me one day and mentioned that he is coming home. As I was about to welcome him, he hugged me tightly and even showered a couple of kisses. He was overwhelmed with the mighty success of the film."

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is based on India’s first freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The period drama, produced by Ram Charan also features Amitabh Bachchan Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Tamannaah Bhatia, Amitabh Bachchan, Ravi Kishan and Nayanthara in the pivotal roles.
