Nalan Kumarasamy’s next directorial venture to have Arya in the lead role?
As per the reports, Arya and the director had a meeting, after which Arya gave his nod as he was mighty impressed with the story.
Arya is one of the sensational actors of Kollywood is currently awaiting the release of his film Teddy. A new report has now come up online stating that the actor will be seen playing the lead role in Nalan Kumarasamy's upcoming film. Reports suggest that the duo had a meeting and discussed the story. Arya, apparently was quite impressed with it and gave his node immediately. Apparently, they both had met in January and it is expected that the film will be started soon.
Touted to be an entertainer, Gnanavel Raja will bankroll the project under his home banner Studio Green. It is expected that an official announcement will be made after the release of Teddy. The film is likely to go on floors in second half of 2021. Directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, Teddy is also bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green. The film marks Shakti Sounder Rajan’s 5th film, the last being Tik Tik Tik in 2018. The trailer was released a couple of weeks back and it was lauded by the fans.
Arya is also waiting for his next film directed by Pa Ranjith titled Salpatta Parambarai. If reports turn out to be true, the story will be set in North Chennai. The film will have Arya playing the role of a boxer. Arya has also joined the shooting of Aranmanai 3, one of the most popular franchises in Kollywood. Andrea Jeremiah, Sakshi Agarwal, and Raashi Khanna are the three heroines who have been finalised to feature in this Sundar C directorial.
