Nandamuri Balakrishna to likely work with GBU’s Adhik Ravichandran; Ajith Kumar’s AK64 to be delayed?

Nandamuri Balakrishna has recently lined up projects with directors Gopichand Malineni and Koratala Siva. Now, it appears that the veteran actor may also collaborate with director Adhik Ravichandran on a new film.
Nandamuri Balakrishna to work with GBU’s Adhik Ravichandran?
According to Valai Pechu, director Adhik Ravichandran has pitched an action entertainer to Nandamuri Balakrishna. With his next project with Ajith Kumar reportedly facing delays, the filmmaker is said to be focusing on another movie for the time being.
However, this remains a rumor, as neither the actor nor the director has made any official announcement regarding the project. Earlier, Adhik Ravichandran had confirmed that his next film would be his second collaboration with Ajith Kumar, tentatively titled AK64. While the movie was expected to be officially launched by now, reports suggest that a producer has yet to be finalized, resulting in delays to the project.
Ajith Kumar and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s work front
Ajith Kumar was last seen in the action drama Good Bad Ugly. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film featured Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Sunil, Prabhu, Prasanna, Karthikeya Dev, Priya Prakash Varrier, Jackie Shroff, Shine Tom Chacko, and several others in pivotal roles.
Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, directed by Boyapati Sreenu. The fantasy action drama served as a sequel to Akhanda (2021). Apart from Balakrishna, the film also starred Aadhi Pinisetty, Samyuktha Menon, and Harshaali Malhotra in key roles.
Looking ahead, the actor is set to collaborate with director Gopichand Malineni on another project, tentatively titled NBK111. Initially, Nayanthara was announced as the female lead opposite Balakrishna. However, recent reports suggest that she may be replaced by Kajal Aggarwal.
More recently, the veteran actor announced a collaboration with director Koratala Siva for a project tentatively titled NBK112. The film is reportedly titled Carpenter, with Anirudh Ravichander likely to compose the songs and background score.
