Nani starrer Paradise heading for reshooting? Here's what the team said about film delay
Nani starrer The Paradise is an upcoming period action drama, directed by Dasara’s Srikanth Odela.
The Paradise, starring Nani in the lead role, is slated to release in theatres on August 21, 2026. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the period action drama was postponed from its initial release date, marking a relatively uncommon move for a Nani-led film.
With several rumors circulating online, the film’s team has now dismissed the speculation and clarified that the project remains on schedule as planned.
Is Nani’s The Paradise heading for reshoots?
Taking to social media, the team behind The Paradise stated that they had noticed several baseless rumors and irresponsible speculations being circulated about the film.
The team further clarified that the project had been planned with complete clarity from the very beginning and that production was progressing exactly as intended. According to them, more than 100 shooting days had already been completed successfully, while the remaining schedule was continuing as planned without any delays.
They also emphasized that there had not been a single reshoot so far and that no reshoots were planned for the future either. The makers added that every stage of the film was being executed with the same scale, precision, and conviction with which it had originally been envisioned.
The makers concluded by requesting everyone to rely only on updates shared through their official channels. They stated that any false information being circulated regarding the film would be addressed directly by them going forward. They also urged people to be responsible while sharing updates and narratives. The team added that The Paradise was very much on track and that they were excited about what was coming next. They further confirmed that the film is slated for a grand worldwide release on August 21, 2026.

The Paradise is an upcoming action thriller starring Nani in the lead role. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film reportedly features the Hi Nanna actor in a violent avatar, portraying a fierce leader of an underprivileged community fighting for citizenship and challenging systemic oppression.
Apart from the Natural Star, the film also stars Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu, Tanikella Bharani, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu, and Eeshwari Rao in key roles.
Earlier, the film was expected to clash at the box office with Peddi, as both movies were initially eyeing a March 2026 release. However, after the Ram Charan-starrer was postponed to April, the Nani-led film also shifted from its original release date. Ironically, Peddi was later postponed again to June 4, 2026.
