Naveen Polishetty was last seen in a lead role in Anaganaga Oka Raju, co-starring Meenakshi Chaudhary. Now, it appears the actor may soon collaborate with Tamil director Antony Bhagyaraj on his next project.
Naveen Polishetty to work with Antony Bhagyaraj next?
According to Gulte Telugu, Naveen Polishetty is expected to headline a film directed by Siren filmmaker Antony Bhagyaraj. The project is reportedly backed by Mythri Movie Makers, one of Telugu cinema's leading production houses. The banner has supported several ambitious films in recent years and is said to be optimistic about this collaboration.
However, this remains a report for now, as no official announcement has been made by the makers.
Antony Bhagyaraj last directed Siren, starring Ravi Mohan, Anupama Parameswaran, and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. The film follows Thilagavarman, who is granted parole after spending 14 years in prison to reunite with his family. As a series of mysterious demises unfolds, Inspector Nandhini uncovers his tragic past and the events that tore his family apart. Driven by a desire to settle old scores, Thilagan confronts those connected to his past before returning to prison, where he shares an emotional reunion with his estranged daughter, Malar.
Apart from the lead cast, the film also featured Samuthirakani, Azhagam Perumal, Yogi Babu, Ajay, and others in key roles. Siren received largely negative reviews upon its release. The film's songs were composed by GV Prakash Kumar, while Sam CS handled the background score.

Directed by Maari, the romantic comedy follows Raju, the grandson of a once-wealthy zamindar, who struggles to uphold his family's reputation after its fortune is lost. Believing he has married into wealth, he soon discovers that his wife, Charulatha, and her family are facing similar financial troubles.
Encouraged to take part in local public affairs, Raju initially steps forward with personal ambitions. However, he gradually begins prioritizing the villagers' welfare, uncovering a larger scheme and helping safeguard their land. His actions earn the trust of the people, allowing him to emerge as a respected leader who restores his family's legacy.
