Apart from NBK, the makers have confirmed Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. The actress had previously shared screen space with the veteran star in Bhagavanth Kesari. With Manchu Manoj playing a pivotal role, the film also features Samuthirakani, Sarath Kumar, Abhimanyu Singh, Upendra Limaye, Manish Wadhwa, Swasika, and others in key roles.

Directed by Gopichandh Malineni, the film features music composed by Thaman S., who is handling both the soundtrack and the background score. With Arvind Kashyap serving as the cinematographer, the project marks Balakrishna's second collaboration with the director after Veera Simha Reddy.

Interestingly, NBK111 was initially reported to be a historical film, with Nayanthara rumored to play the female lead. However, based on the newly unveiled glimpse, it appears that the makers may have opted for a different script altogether, with the actress no longer associated with the project.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s work front

Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, directed by Boyapati Sreenu. The fantasy action drama served as a sequel to Akhanda (2021). Apart from Balakrishna, the film also starred Aadhi Pinisetty, Samyuktha Menon, and Harshaali Malhotra in key roles. The movie received mixed-to-negative reviews and reportedly underperformed at the box office.

Recently, the veteran actor also announced his collaboration with director Koratala Siva for a project tentatively titled NBK112. The film is reportedly titled Carpenter, with Anirudh Ravichander expected to compose both the songs and the background score.

Moreover, rumors suggest that Saripodhaa Sanivaaram director Vivek Athreya has pitched a script to the actor for a project likely to be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. While the director and producers recently met Balakrishna to wish him on his birthday, no official confirmation regarding the collaboration has been made so far.
