According to a report by senior journalist VSN Murthy aka Devipriya, on X (formerly Twitter), NBK112 is expected to go on floors in August 2026. While more details are yet to be revealed, reports suggest that a muhurat ceremony will take place on June 25, 2026.
However, this information is currently based only on reports, and the makers have not issued any official confirmation yet.

NBK112 is an upcoming action film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role and directed by Koratala Siva. While speculation around the project continues, reports indicate that the film might be titled Carpenter, with the makers likely to rope in Anirudh Ravichander to compose the songs and background score.
The film is expected to be a mass action entertainer packed with commercial elements, and the title is said to appeal to pan-Indian audiences. It is also believed to have strong recall value and suit Balakrishna’s on-screen image.

Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, directed by Boyapati Sreenu. The fantasy action drama is a sequel to Akhanda. Apart from Balakrishna, the film also stars Aadhi Pinisetty, Samyuktha Menon, and Harshaali Malhotra in key roles. The film received mixed-to-negative reviews and underperformed at the box office.
Looking ahead, the actor is also set to collaborate with director Gopichandh Malineni on another project, tentatively titled NBK111. Initially, Nayanthara was announced as the female lead opposite Balakrishna. However, recent reports suggest that she may be replaced by Kajal Aggarwal.
