The film Moothon which translates to The Elder One, will see Nivin Pauly in the lead role. The film, Moothon is helmed by director Geetu Mohandas. The film which is believed to be a bilingual film will be releasing Malayalam and Hindi. The film is co-produced by Gangs of Wasseypur director Anurag Kashyap. This will be the third time when Anurag Kashyap is making an appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The film is expected to be an exceptional film which cannot be bound to any particular genre.

Nivin Pauly starrer Moothon will see the actor in a very complex and deep character as per reports. The film is said to have an impressive star cast. Actors like Sobhita Dhulipala, Shashank Arora, Melissa Raju Thomas, Roshan Matthew will be essaying key roles in the film. Anurag Kashyap's films Mukkabaaz and Manmarziyaan had also previously premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film's story line is believed to be very unique that will definitely strike a chord with the fans and the film audience.

As per the latest reports, the film Moothon tells a story of two brothers from the island of Lakshwadeep. The character of the older brother is said to have left the island for a life in Mumbai and soon the younger brother follows the elder's one footsteps. The younger brother is on the lookout for his elder brother in the city of Mumbai, which is known as the city of dreams. The fans are hoping that the film gets good reviews at TIFF.
