According to the official CBFC listing, Peddi has completed its censor certification and has been granted a UA 16+ rating. Along with the certificate, the action drama has been confirmed to have a runtime of 3 hours and 9 minutes (189 minutes), with minor modifications.

With the film just days away from hitting the big screens, the makers recently hosted a massive concert event in Bhopal featuring AR Rahman. Moreover, the team also unveiled the latest peppy track from the movie, titled Hellallallo, on music streaming platforms.

The new dance number features Shruti Haasan in a cameo appearance. Initially, reports suggested that the special track would feature Mrunal Thakur, but the makers later confirmed through a promo that it would be the Coolie actress instead.

Peddi revolves around a young and spirited man from a village who is regarded as a legend in multiple sports, including cricket, wrestling, and running. As he navigates the challenges of everyday life, he faces the biggest test of his journey and strives to make a name for himself using the talent he has honed over the years.

The sports action drama is touted as a journey of self-discovery and excellence. The film also explores themes of personal rivalry and budding romance. Alongside Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film stars Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu, Boman Irani, Jagapathi Babu, and others in key roles.

Ram Charan’s work front

Previously, Ram Charan was seen in the lead role in the S. Shankar directorial action drama Game Changer. The film, which received underwhelming responses from both critics and audiences, is currently available for streaming on Prime Video.

After Peddi, Charan is expected to collaborate with Sukumar for the tentatively titled RC17. The upcoming project will mark their second collaboration after the success of Rangasthalam.
