Set against the backdrop of rural Andhra Pradesh, Peddi is an intense sports drama that tracks the journey of its protagonist. Ram Charan plays Peddi Pehelwan, an elite, spirited athlete who possesses remarkable skills in wrestling, cricket, and traditional village sports.
Peddi uses his athletic prowess to take on a powerful rival, fighting for village pride and standing up for the oppressed in his community. As soon as the audience watched the film on 70 mm, they started flooding Twitter (now X) with rave reviews.
