Netflix on Wednesday released the teaser of its debut Telugu original anthology titled Pitta Kathalu. This one has come as yet another anthology adding to the recent trend in the South entertainment industry. With the teaser, it is expected that the anthology will have stories about challenges that women face while being in complicated relationships. This four-part anthology film is directed by four directors namely Tharun Bhascker, BV Nandini Reddy, Nag Ashwin and Sankalp Reddy.

It is expected that the anthology will narrate four different tales of four distinctly bold women - Eesha Rebba, Lakshmi Manchu, Amala Paul and Shruti Haasan. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies and Ashi Dua Sara’s Flying Unicorn Entertainment, Pitta Kathalu will premiere on the video streaming platform on February 19.

Nandhini Reddy took to her Twitter space and shared the teaser, writing “Oka kotha journey ila Modalaindi. Super excited to be part of Netflix s first Telugu original”. Lakshmi Manchnu thanked the director Tharun and wrote on her Twitter space, “The cat is out of the bag! I can finally share the news with all of you! I’m super excited to be part of @NetflixIndia's first Telugu Language Original Film!! Thank you @TharunBhasckerD for giving me the role to speak the Telangana Dialect #PittaKathalu releases on Feb 19!”. Fans, who are elated after the teaser’s release, took to Twitter to express how excited they are to watch the film.
