Prabhas helped Jagapathi Babu through depression

Speaking about a difficult phase in his life to Moneycontrol, Jagapathi Babu revealed that he once reached out to Prabhas while battling depression. At the time, Prabhas was shooting in Georgia, but immediately offered his support and encouragement. Recalling the conversation, Jagapathi Babu said, “I was going through depression and wanted to speak to him. At that time, Prabhas was shooting in Georgia. He told me, ‘Darling, I am there. Tell me your problem, I will solve it,’ and gave me a lot of confidence.”

Jagapathi Babu on SS Rajamouli’s humility

Apart from Prabhas, Jagapathi Babu also had high praise for filmmaker SS Rajamouli and his family. He said that despite achieving global recognition, Rajamouli continues to remain humble and grounded. “Even after winning many awards, Rajamouli remains humble and grounded. He has no ego at all, and his entire family is the same. They treat everyone with care and affection,” he said.

Jagapathi Babu further appreciated the director’s professionalism and fairness in casting. “Rajamouli selects the actors based on suitability to the character and not because of closeness to him,” he stated. He believes that people could achieve success in both career and life if they adopted even a fraction of the discipline and values followed by Rajamouli’s family.
