Superstar Rajinikanth is currently shooting for his next film, Darbar also starring Nayanthara in the female lead. Last month, few pictures of the superstar shooting a cricket sequence in Mumbai for his upcoming action drama went viral all over on social media. Fans are eagerly waiting for this one movie to release as Thalaiva sets high expectations with his every film. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth was having the best time of his life as he spent time with his grandson, Ved on the sets. Soundarya and her son Ved recently visited the sets of his film Darbar. 

Acclaimed cinematographer Santhosh Sivan made sure to capture the priceless moment of Rajinikanth with his grandson Ved. The photo sees the superstar holding little Ved in his arms while watching the monitor. Santhosh Sivan shared the photo on Facebook and wrote, "Epitome of innocence..withgrand child watching the monitor.. timeless i just managed to capture it during Darbar shoot!"

Soundarya Rajinikanth too shared the photo of her lifelines on Twitter account. She wrote as, "#MyWorld #Lifelines my darling appa and ved papa #AtDarbarShoot." 

In the film, Rajinikanth will be seen playing a police officer almost 25 years after he last played a cop in his 1992 film Pandian. 

Darbar marks the fourth collaboration of superstar Rajinikanth and Nayanthara. Previously, the two of them have worked together in the movies Sivaji, Chandramukhi and Kuselan. Rajinikanth was last seen in the movie Petta which was directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran. The received massive response and went on to earn huge at the box office.
