Rajinikanth starrer Darbar to feature Nawab Shah in the role of a villain; Details inside

Nawab Shah, who was last seen in Tiger Zinda Hai, will now essay the role of a villain for Rajinikanth’s Darbar. Suniel Shetty has already been roped to play the antagonist in the film. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, Nawab Shah will also join the big film. According to a source, “Nawab will play a business tycoon and Shetty’s comrade in the film. He has already started shooting for his portions.”
Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar, who was seen in the Hindi version of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya is also playing the antagonist in the film. Prateik Babbar will be seen essaying the role of Sunil Shetty's son in the film. Produced by Lyca Productions, Rajinikanth will be seen playing a cop after 25 years.
In fact, recently, Transgender actress Jeeva, who had worked with Vijay Sethupathi in Dharma Durai has joined the star cast of Darbar. Nayanthara is playing the lead role and it also features Yogi Babu, Anandaraj, Harish Uttaman and Bose Venkat in pivotal roles. Music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Santosh Sivan and editing by Sreekar Prasad. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 9, 2020.
