Rajinikanth visits and spends time with Ilaiyaraaja at his new recording studio in Chennai; VIDEO
After the long battle with Prasad Studios, Ilaiyaraaja has set up a new recording studio in Chennai. Recently, superstar Rajinikanth visited music maestro Ilaiyaraaja's new recording studio and also clicked a few photos with him. One can see in the photos and video, Rajinikanth in a white short kurta and black pants while Ilaiyaraaja is seen in his signature look. The Petta star also enjoyed a few songs and reminisced their good old days. Rajini and Ilaiyaraaja have collaborated in the past for projects like Thalapathi, Veera.
Ilaiyaraaja opened his new studio after his public fallout with his former longtime collaborator Prasad Studios. In December last year, the Madras High Court had reportedly recommended having a mediation in the case relating to music maestro Ilayaraja and his composition room in Prasad studios. However, when Ilayaraja was asked to vacate the premises, he filed a case against the studio owners demanding to be allowed to continue at the same premises. Amidst the legal proceedings, all his belongings like photos to his Padma Bhushan Award that were always kept in Ilaiyaraaja’s personal room were removed and dumped at a warehouse.
Meanwhile, check out Rajinikanth and Ilaiyaraaja's latest photos:
