Baahubali star Rana Daggubati is in the news yet again but this time, for his changed look. Rana, who has a couple of big films in the kitty, has chopped his long tresses and beard. Rana took to Instagram and shared his new look with a caption that read, "Cleaned up for the month!!." Well, the actor has lost weight and is seen in a much-leaner look for his next film, Haathi Mere Saathi. Though the dashing star had already sported a lean look for his role of Chandrababu Naidu in the NTR biopic, this new avatar has surprised his fans. His lean look and shocking transformation is currently in the limelight. 

For his upcoming film Haathi Mere Saathi, Daggubati plays a character called Bandev. The Baahubali star recently in an interview revealed that the character is all about a man who lives in the jungle for years and years. As his role demands, he has shed out around 15 kgs for the film. To get in shape for the film, Rana Daggubati stopped eating non-veg and also stopped weight training. Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the trilingual film, Haathi Mere Saathi is being shot simultaneously in Hindi Telugu and Tamil. On Bollywood front, Rana will also be soon seen in Housefull 4. The actor has replaced Nana Patekar in the film after he was involved in #MeToo Movement. Recently in an interview with Hindustan Times, he spoke about trying comedy genre for the first time. He said, "Forget a comedy ensemble film; I have never even done a [solo] comedy movie. Nobody asks [approaches] me to be a part of such films; I don't know what image they [makers] have of me."
