After a long wait, the makers of Aranya have released the trailer, which promises an intense jungle drama with various aspects like revenge, action and emotions. Incidentally, the trailer is released on the occasion of World Wildlife Day. Titled Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi and ‘Kaadan’ in Tamil, the trilingual film revolves around the illegal encroachment of forest and how crony capitalism impacts the elephants’ corridor. Slated to be released on March 26, the film is written and directed by Kumki fame Prabhu Solomon.

What we see in the 3-minute-long trailer is Rana Daggubati as Bandev, a mahout and conservationist. It is also shown that the human forces try to encroach on Kaziranga's elephant corridor. Bandev, who is hugely disturbed by this, wages a war against them. He opposes the politicians and media who back the encroachment plot. It was also reported that Rana Daggubati followed a strict diet regime and underwent extensive training to shed down nearly 30 kilos from his body in order to play a 50-year-old man.
