Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, is slated to release on September 11, 2026. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan of Shyam Singha Roy fame, the team has now unveiled a behind-the-scenes glimpse featuring Vijay Deverakonda.

In the video glimpse, Vijay Deverakonda can be seen undergoing advanced horse-riding training under expert supervision. The actor is shown practising with Stallion-breed horses, which are considered among the most challenging breeds to handle during action sequences.
The glimpse also features several rehearsal moments, highlighting the physical challenges Vijay faced while filming the intense scenes.
The upcoming film is reportedly based on real incidents that took place during British rule in the late 1800s. Alongside Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, the film will also feature Arnold Vosloo in a key role.

The makers shared the glimpse on Vijay Deverakonda’s 37th birthday. Recently, Rashmika Mandanna posted a heartfelt birthday note for the actor, along with pictures reflecting on how they celebrated his first birthday together after marriage.
Vijay Deverakonda’s work front
Vijay Deverakonda has Rowdy Janardhana in his lineup, an action drama directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and co-starring Keerthy Suresh. The makers recently unveiled a new birthday poster featuring Keerthy Suresh’s character stepping on Vijay’s chest while he looks at her affectionately.
In an early glimpse, the actor was seen sporting a long-haired look along with a thick, twirled moustache. Interestingly, the makers released title glimpses in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Additionally, Vijay has announced a new project with Shouryuv, best known for Hi Nanna. Tentatively titled VDxShouryuv, the film is reportedly expected to feature Kriti Sanon as the female lead. The music will be composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, marking his second collaboration with Vijay after Kushi, which co-starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
