Ravi Mohan made headlines earlier after opening up about his personal struggles and becoming emotional while addressing the media. Now, weeks later, the actor has made an appearance at an awards event, reaffirming his commitment to cinema and expressing his gratitude for the unwavering support of his fans over the years.

Ravi Mohan vows to never leave behind cinema

Speaking at the event, Ravi Mohan became teary-eyed as he reflected on how he has dedicated half of his life to cinema. Addressing the impact of his recent personal challenges, the actor said, “I believe the love and care a person shows towards themselves are very important. When we learn to take good care of ourselves, we naturally begin to care for the people around us. If I am happy, I can also keep those around me happy. The love people have shown me is greater than any award. I feel truly blessed because of their affection."

"Half of my life has been spent in cinema. I have only one regret, that my personal decision has hurt many people. I ask for your forgiveness. I will not betray you. I will come back stronger as your Santhosh, Kumaran, Dhuruvan, Thanioruvan, Ponniyin Selvan, and as your Karathey Babu. I am beginning a new phase of my life with happiness."

Ravi concluded, "Between peace and success, I will always choose peace. To me, true success is the love people have for me. Between fame and happiness, I will choose happiness without any doubt. Ravi Mohan’s work front

Ravi Mohan was last seen portraying the primary antagonist in Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the period drama also featured Atharvaa Murali and Sreeleela in key roles and is now available for streaming on ZEE5.

Looking ahead, Ravi is set to return to the big screen with Karathey Babu, slated for release on August 28, 2026. Directed by Ganesh K. Babu, the action drama also stars Daudee Jiwal, KS Ravikumar, Shakthi Vasu, Nasser, VTV Ganesh, and several others in key roles.

The actor also recently joined the shoot of Benz. Headlined by Raghava Lawrence, the action film is co-produced by Lokesh Kanagaraj and is part of his cinematic universe. Alongside Lawrence and Ravi Mohan, the film also stars Nivin Pauly in dual roles, with one of the characters serving as the primary antagonist.
