Keerthy Suresh wishes Rowdy Janaradhana co-star Vijay Deverakonda
Taking to their official handle, the makers of Rowdy Janardhana shared a poster featuring Keerthy Suresh’s character stepping on Vijay’s character, Janardhana, while he wields a revolver.
Sharing the update, the team wrote, “A man who fights the world…but surrenders only to love. Wishing our Rowdy Janardhana, Vijay Deverakonda, a very Happy Birthday.”
Reposting the same, Keerthy Suresh penned a birthday note that read, “Now I can officially say this, Happy Birthday, Rowdy!”
Here’s the post:
Earlier, the makers of Rowdy Janardhana had unveiled a glimpse of the film, making it clear that the movie would be an intense action drama. The teaser showcased Vijay in a completely transformed avatar, flaunting his muscular physique as he slashes through his rivals in a violent rampage. Dressed in a lungi during the action sequences, the actor offered a glimpse into the film’s rooted and rustic world.
As he takes on multiple opponents, his character declares that while many in his region may call themselves “Rowdy,” he alone has truly earned the title, so much so that it has become his identity and even his name: Rowdy Janardhana.
Vijay adopts an East Godavari Telugu accent in the film and sports long hair along with a thick, twirled moustache. Interestingly, the makers released title glimpses in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The actor himself dubbed for all the versions, making the promos feel as authentic as possible.
The film is directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, who previously helmed Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru and wrote Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam starring Vishwak Sen.
With Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead, the film’s music and background score are composed by Christo Xavier, known for Bramayugam and Diés Iraé. Cinematography is handled by Anend C Chandran.
Vijay Deverakonda’s next film
Vijay Deverakonda will next be seen in the period film Ranabaali, where he stars alongside his wife, Rashmika Mandanna. The flick is set to release on September 11, 2026.
