During a recent interview, The Mr India producer lashed out at Rajamouli accusing him of bullying and being unethical. Both Maidaan and RRR feature Ajay Devgn. While the latter has him playing the lead role, RRR will have him in a supporting role. Talking during an interview with Forbes, Boney said that the clash was unfortunate.

“The clash between RRR and Maidaan is very unfortunate and at the same time, it is unethical,” The Indian Express quoted him as saying. He added that Ajay Devgn was not aware of the clash. The South is rising. I don't think South filmmakers need to all of a sudden look out for North releases, when the Hindi Film Industry hasn't done so in years for the South. It's only NOW the North is complaining because they haven't delivered much good content in years and see the direct impact on their business and profits. Sorry but not sorry.

Rajamauli is not decision maker here, the release date is fixed by distributors to whom the film is already sold. Boney Kapoor can only deal with the distributors. And he knows this, then why is he blaming Rajamauli? There must be some grudge he is nursing against Rajamauli, perhaps the Bahubali episode of the past where his wife lost a role in it is the reason.
