Thalapathy Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay is set to make his directorial debut with the Sundeep Kishan starrer Sigma.

Sigma, starring Sundeep Kishan in the lead role, is set to mark the directorial debut of Thalapathy Vijay’s son, Jason Sanjay. Ahead of the film’s release on July 31, 2026, the makers have unveiled its first single, titled Sigma Style.

The makers have released the first single, Sigma Style, composed by Thaman S. The track has been sung by the composer himself, with Smile Tupakeys and MC Rude also lending their vocals. Additionally, Harsha D has provided supporting vocals for the song.

Sigma Style features the film’s lead actors, Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah, along with Raju Sundaram. Jason Sanjay also makes an appearance in the song, marking his onscreen debut.

Sigma marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of Thalapathy Vijay. The film is touted to be an action-adventure comedy centered around a “lone wolf” protagonist who challenges societal expectations and embarks on a quest for hidden treasures while navigating high-stakes heists.

Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Sampath Raj, Kiran Konda, Magalakshmi Sudharsanan, and several others in pivotal roles. Moreover, a few actors are rumored to make cameo appearances, while Jason himself is also expected to feature in a special dance number.

In a recent interview, Sundeep Kishan said that Sanjay was an extremely hardworking young man and that he and his team had been working on the project for a very long time. He added that they had invested heavily in both the pre-production and editing processes. According to the actor, one could learn a great deal about patience from Sanjay, which had truly impressed him.

Sundeep further noted that Jason Sanjay had studied filmmaking and editing and mentioned that it had been a long time since he had worked with such a young filmmaker. He also remarked that Sanjay resembled his father, Thalapathy Vijay, and described him as one of the most grounded and humble people anyone could meet.

On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay’s final film, Jana Nayagan, is yet to be released in theaters. Directed by H. Vinoth, the action drama is expected to hit the big screens on the superstar’s birthday later this year. Besides Vijay, the film also stars Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Priyamani, and several others in key roles.
