Sing Geetham is set in a mining village in Andhra Pradesh, where Renu and her father are looking to sell their mines, believing that further gold excavation is no longer feasible. To complete the deal, they need the signature of Pratap, the son of co-owner Uday.

Meanwhile, Gowri, a young villager, opposes the cutting down of the region's only remaining tree for further mining activities. Ignored by everyone, she turns to the village deity Kubera and wishes that people would stop telling lies.
