Slum Dog - 33 Temple Road is the upcoming action film starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, directed by Puri Jagannadh.
Vijay Sethupathi is all set to headline the action film Slum Dog – 33 Temple Road, directed by Puri Jagannadh. Ahead of its release, the makers have unveiled the teaser, offering a glimpse into a gritty tale of rage and survival.

The 1-minute, 15-second teaser features Vijay Sethupathi as a slum dweller who takes it upon himself to fight back when members of his community face injustice. In his struggle for survival, he pulls out all the stops to protect his people, setting the stage for a massive clash against evil forces.
Duniya Vijay is expected to play the primary antagonist, while Tabu appears in a pivotal role. The film also stars Samyuktha, Zarina Wahab, VTV Ganesh, Brahmaji, and others in key roles.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film is co-produced by him, Charmme Kaur, and JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla under the banner of Puri Connects. The movie features music composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, while Sam K Naidu handles the cinematography. Santosh Noozilla serves as the editor.
Vijay Sethupathi’s work front
Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in the lead role in the web series Muthu Engira Kaattaan. Directed by M. Manikandan, the action drama also starred Milind Soman, Sudev Nair, Kalaivani Bhaskar, Vettai Muthukumar, Singampuli, Vadivel Murugan, Abi Nakshatra, and others in key roles.
Looking ahead, Vijay is set to make a special appearance in Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2. The upcoming sequel is being helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar and serves as a continuation of the 2023 blockbuster. Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and others are expected to play pivotal roles, while Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar will reprise their characters from the previous installment.
Additionally, Vijay Sethupathi has completed filming for Train, which is currently said to be in the VFX stage. The actor has also reunited with Super Deluxe director Thiagarajan Kumararaja for Pocket Novel, co-starring Malavika Mohanan and Raj B. Shetty.
Furthermore, he is also part of Mani Ratnam’s next film alongside Sai Pallavi and is set to play a crucial role in STR’s Arasan.
