The gruesome bombings in Sri Lanka have left the entire world shaken. The bomblasts in Sri Lankan churches and hotels have killed at least 207 people and around 400 have been injured. Though it's not clear who is the person behind the horrifying attack, it is said to be a certain terror attack. It was Easter Sunday with worshippers in numbers at churches. Thousands of people had come to Church for prayers as it was the Easter Sunday. The six blasts took place at 8:45 AM, Sri Lanka local time. It was certainly a planned attack as the Easter mass was in progress at that time. 

South Indian celebrities like Anushka Shetty, Soundarya Rajinikanth, Siddharth, Radikaa, Sarathkumar and Nidhhi Agerwal among others took to social media to condemn the attack. Baahubali actress Anushka took to Instagram and spoke about the horrible terrorist attack. The actress wrote as, "Strongly condemn Horrible terrorist attack in #SriLanka on #EasterSunday My Heartfelt condolences to families who lost their loved ones & praying for all departed souls to Rest in Peace."

Actor Siddharth who is shaken with the attack tweeted as, "Devastated by the news of blasts in #SriLanka. Places of worship and hotels have been targeted. To all those affected, you are in our prayers." 

 

Meanwhile, according to media reports, four Indian nationals have died in those attacks. Sri Lankan Prime Minister condemned the 'cowardly' attack. He tweeted as, "I strongly condemn the cowardly attacks on our people today. I call upon all Sri Lankans during this tragic time to remain united and strong. Please avoid propagating unverified reports and speculation. The government is taking immediate steps to contain this situation."
